This morning I had the pleasure of meeting four wonderful staff members of the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. The meeting was arranged by Michael Szarek, the unofficial voice of the college on Twitter. The official Twitter account is expected to launch this Spring.

The meeting didn’t have a real agenda. I introduced myself and probably talked too long. Michael explained his role and how he sees social media as a tool. He is very grounded and knows that Twitter is best for planting seeds. Making contacts. Building community. Thomas Billings was present. Thomas is the Assistant Director of Recruitment and spends much of his time on the road. Tom doesn’t twitter, yet. I think I may have convinced him that he should.

Courney Smolen is the Web Specialist and runs the schools Content Management System (CMS) as well as probably one million other things. Fran Sullivan is the Communications Specialist and already has a pile of upcoming events that she would like us to cover. Stay tuned for some really cool stuff.

These folks really have a great plan for embracing social networks and are leading the pack relative to their peers. It was an honor and a pleasure to spend time with them.

I have compiled a list:
